Deputy Sweeting-Mashkow devoted 25 years of honorable, selfless service to this agency. Throughout her career, she embodied what it means to wear the badge—with unwavering integrity, courage, and compassion. Her dedication to public safety, her commitment to her community, and her steady professionalism earned her the respect and admiration of colleagues, residents, and all who had the privilege of working beside her.

Her loss is immeasurable. Our agency mourns not only a devoted deputy, but a cherished friend, mentor, and protector. The ripple of grief is felt deeply across Indian River County and beyond.
