The Maidencreek community is mourning the sudden loss of John Edward Vincent Chabrol, 57, who passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2025, following a single-vehicle crash in Leesport.

According to the Berks County Coroner’s Office, the accident occurred around 2 p.m. at Peach Street and South Centre Avenue. John’s vehicle collided with a utility pole, leaving him trapped and unresponsive inside. Emergency personnel worked diligently to access the car, but tragically, he was pronounced deceased at the scene.

John Chabrol was a longtime member of the Maidencreek Township community, remembered for his kindness, reliability, and the meaningful relationships he built with family, friends, and neighbors. His sudden passing has left a deep void, and the community extends heartfelt condolences to all who knew and loved him.
