It is with great sadness that the Coral Springs Police Department shares the passing of Sergeant Ebony Winn after a courageous battle with cancer. Sgt. Winn was more than a dedicated member of our department; she was a daughter, sister, friend, and a source of strength and inspiration to everyone who knew her.

Ebony joined the Coral Springs Police Department in 2008, dedicating her career to serving the community with integrity, compassion, and unwavering commitment. She consistently put others first, and her colleagues knew they could rely on her for guidance, support, and encouragement. Her leadership, professionalism, and kindness left a lasting impact on everyone around her.

Throughout her years of service, Sgt. Winn exemplified the highest standards of law enforcement and community engagement. She was a role model, mentor, and friend whose presence made a tangible difference in the lives of her colleagues and the residents she served. Her absence will be deeply felt throughout the department and the community.
